DO YOU HAVE EMPLOYERS READY TO HIRE ME RIGHT NOW?

We may have based on Labor Referral Agreements we have in place in certain industry categories and geographical locations.  But, at the same time, we are not “miracle-workers.”  Don’t expect miracles since that’s an unreasonable expectation.  Job candidates with a felony on their record have a tough time finding work.  That’s where we come in.  We will improve your chances from the very beginning and stick with you and help you until you get hired. 


WILL YOU TAKE CARE OF REPORTING TO MY PO WHEN I GET A JOB?

Yes, under our agreement with the ODRC/APA we are to notify your PO of your progress toward getting hired. The Help Desk will remind you of this when they speak with you.   


SHOULD I REGISTER EVEN IF I AM CURRENTLY WORKING?

Yes, we report your current employment and all changes of employment directly to your supervising PO for entry into your case management file so it is essential that we have the information on your current employer to provide to your PO.  Before you initiate your Registration make sure you have have your current employer’s contact information in hand.

Additionally, since the vast majority of Ohio employers do not obtain the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, under our agreement with the ODRC/APA we are to contact your employer to make sure they are aware of this credit they have earned by hiring you.

And, we often find Registrants look for our help in “upgrading” their employment so they get a better job.  We have to know about you to help you do that!


HOW WILL YOU COMMUNICATE WITH ME?

We will attempt to reach you via phone within three business days of your Registration.  We will ask you some questions about yourself and your work goals.  We will give you initial leads and suggestions you may not have thought of.  Thereafter, to the extent possible we will communicate via text messages or emails.  Keep your contact information with us functioning and current!


WHAT DO I DO WITH MY WOTC CARDS? 

The cards are to be given to employers considering hiring you to make sure they understand the financial benefit of hiring you.  DO NOT call the number on the card, that number is exclusively for employers to use.  After you Register you will be contacted by us within 72 hours.
